Welcome to Congregation Beth Sholom’s on-line giving.
Synagogues can no longer rely on dues alone to support the programs and services they provide. Like universities, museums and orchestras, religious organizations must also find additional means to supplement revenue. Although our shule hosts successful fund raisers, we do appreciate the support we receive from individuals around the world. There are a variety of methods available fro Congregation Beth Sholom’s members and friends to provide the funds needed to enhance synagogue life with programs and services and maintain and preserve our buildings and property.
To make a donation, click here to download the donation form. Please send contributions by mail with a check and the filled out form. Below are listed the funds that are supported by our membership. You may designate that your gift go to the synagogue’s general fund or to one of the other existing named funds. The minimum donation is $18.00.
Shule General Fund
We encourage everyone to support this fund in the spirit of “kol nedivat libo” - each at his or her own level of donation, from a minimum or reaching as high as the sky as your budget allows - but without fanfare.
Siddurim and Chumashim
One of our most popular items, siddurim or chumashim may be donated to commemorate a special occasion or memorialize a loved one. Donations in the following amounts should be sent to the shule office:
$36.00 per Artscroll Ashkenaz Siddur
$72.00 per Stone Chumash
Albert Sussman Education Fund
An endowment was made in 2005 by the Albert Sussman family for our shule to continue to have Torah Scholars speak before our community. World renowned Torah Scholars and authors have spoken at our synagogue due to the generosity of this education fund.
Israel Scholarship Fund
This fund is established to assist our students who desire to study in Israel. Congregation Beth Sholom is proud that we have the largest group of students studying in Israel at any given time.
Memorial Plaques
Our memorial plaques are prominently displayed to honor and remember departed family members in the Bet Midrash. Donations are $360 per plaque. Please contact Rabbi Kilimnick for more information.
Tree of Life Leaves
Leaves on the Tree of Life in the main shule hallway may be inscribed for a donation of $180.00 per leaf to mark special occasions. Please contact Rabbi Kilimnick for more information.
