The establishment of the Ambassadors of Humanity Award was inspired by the passion and enthusiasm of a growing movement across the United States to embrace the best of the human spirit in us all.
This unique award represents our recognition of those who demonstrate what can be accomplished when each person's heart and soul. Through one on one contact and group relations, each of us can work to sensitize others with the hope of reaching a deeper and more abiding understanding of our differences and similarities. This award is given to those who have shown courage and initiatives to reach out together, to create an atmosphere that is at once positive, exciting and contagious - spreading its arms in an extension of humanity which includes those in every walk of life.
From our small corner of the universe at Congregation Beth Sholom, may the Ambassadors of Humanity grow until we are all worthy to be a part of it.
